I am speaking here of the cybercultures and the proliferation of Social Media…His words resonate today as if they had been written for us who are being moved all together by an immense force.
There is a strong readjustment to be made in all domains. Yet there is no time, the wave is flowing ahead of us constantly ahead, and at the very moment when you think you are finally grasping something it runs away to other shores and ventures.
Twitter replaces the news as it comes to us more rapidly or let’s say that the newspapers outsource to twitter.
There is a tremendous need for understanding what is happening and it is happening so fast and in so many places at the same time, on your phone, your laptop, on the blog.! How old is the word? It is not even in the dictionary yet it is already deeply rooted.
We are learning a new linguo, we express ourselves in blogs, we tweet and in so doing have to absorb new programs everyday to allow these media to enlarge and keep growing.
I seriously doubt that anyone knows where this is going. but that is not the point. The destination is irrelevant only the motion, the astonishing motion seems to exist and carry us forward!
As a consequence we need new tools, fast, to support this revolution. To teach us how to cope, how to take advantage of it of course. when something, that size, happens everyone is out and Ebooks now exist by hundreds. There are softwares allowing to generate these books faster,the purpose of which is to continually explain some specifics that can be grabbed as the wave continues its course. While the driving force behind the surge cannot be stopped.
It is as if the dams of language and communication had suddenly broken wide open and everyone was vested with the power to speak out. That is a lot of voices.
The universe is tweeting night and day!!
